Losai National Reserve

Background Information
Losai National Reserve which covers an area of 1806 km2 is a wilderness semi-desert landscape characterised by rocky hills, open plains and riverine woodlands that snake along seasonal rivers.

Climate:
The climate is hot and dry.

HOW TO GET THERE

Roads:
Can be accessed via all weather road from Isiolo town.

MAJOR ATTRACTIONS

Scenic wilderness landscape and rocky hills.

WILDLIFE

Reptiles:
Python, Cobra, Lizard.

Insects/arthropods:
Grasshopper, Bee, Beetle, Scorpion.

COMMON VEGETATION

Medium thorn bushland with semi-desert and riverine woodlands.
