I know that there has been crossings going on in August as well. Most of the migrations I have seen have been in September. Dad was based on an off in the Mara for about 35 years and they mainly crossed around September period - but you must be lucky to see this as they can go anytime. We have has film cruise based at the Camp for weeks waiting for the crossing which at time had taken 2 weeks to gather before starting the crossing - a must for all wildlife lovers to see this great event.
