Mandrills

These very large group of monkeys are really impressive. When I began to hear a lot of noise I first tought it was the wind, as it was coming from everywhere around me at the same time. What I did not know, is I had just divided a group of hundred of mandrills, one of the half was waiting for the others, and the others were waiting to continue their way.

That day I had a lot of chance as the forest was quite huge, and after seeing them the first time I continued my way in my research area, as I did not want to disturb the group of mandrill to much. When I arrived to my research spot, they were right there, then when I came back on my way out of the forest I crossed them once again ... Unfortunately, I found no male which are very impressive by their color, but still made some interesting videos
