thank you jan!
that what i knew from earlier postings. therefore i was even more puzzled when i got the info on the planned cc africa projekt within the reserve.
despite all management plans and denials we all know that especially in africa money offered to the "right person" opens doors which seemed to be properly sealed
i am really suspiciuos what's coming out of this.

Money talks - it has happened before.
They stopped all building of lodges about 12 years ago in Kimana - since then 3 more lodges have been built by ONE company..... !!

Is that not more of a problem though when a Council runs the area? It certainly seems it would be easier to bribe Council members then get something passed thru KWS and the government. Perhaps I am wrong on this, just an assumption.

It takes nature millions of years to evolve a new species. It takes only minutes to eradicate one from the wild forever.
