About a week ago while I was in Kenya there was quite an article in the newspaper about a group called Jabali Afrika. They are Kenyan drum kings performing in the US now.
"good African/Kenyan music" per the Nation.

I haven't yet had a chance to see if I can get their music on Amazon but will attempt to find out about it this week after things have settled back to normal.
