Thanks Pippa for posting this information to let people kinow what is going on in Africa.

The more I see of this the more angry I get. The company that produces Furadan has agreed to a buy-back of all Furadan in the country, yet the poisonings continue. Any of the shopkeepers could have returned the product and gotten a refund. They are not doing this.

I now blame the Kenyan authorities for not doing more. They should hire teams that go into all the agro shops and remove all of it from the shelves.

Since the shopkeepers didn't care to get the refund, after the authorities seize it, the refund money should go into caring for wildlife instead of into a general fund.

I know, easier said than done, but unless the authorities wake up there will be no lions, vultures and other birds left.

It takes nature millions of years to evolve a new species. It takes only minutes to eradicate one from the wild forever.
