Got an email from Kat yesterday who was in Tsavo East National Park. She stated there were two
Chinese Embassy cars with flags flying traveling in the parks giving thumbs up to safari driver/guides.
They were probably picking out their \"wish list\" of tusks and hoping the driver/guides would help them get it.

Wake up politicians in Nairobi before it is too late!!!!

It takes nature millions of years to evolve a new species. It takes only minutes to eradicate one from the wild forever.

Gosh - that's awful!

By the way - are those private vehicles allowed in the park?

I missed a film last Sunday here in Germany which dealt with the Chinese in Kenya.
Obviously it's that bad that also in Germany it rings bells..............except in Kenya I fear!

From the way it looks Kenya is in a big down hill slide. Not only from china but also with the pirates buying up large areas of land in nairobi it will be hard for people to protect anything from these greedy no good people. With that much money floating around anyone can be bought off. I just hope the goverment has people who have the guts to stand up and say no and protect the parks and the animals. If not it looks like doom and gloom.
