Ciao Cody:
What has happened to our friend Simba? Did someone bury him under the sand at the beach with his cigar and ouzo? It's been quite a while since we've heard from him - or Kipper either for that matter. I just hope they are both alright

Simba - he is in Germany stocking up on his Weiss Beer around the Bavarian boarders after which he shall travel towards the Black forest for some illegal snaps - similar to Grappa. Knowing Simba all this will be carried by his wife and daughter whilst they are tied and dragged behind his camels and he happily wonders ahead sucking on his endless cigar - (probably made up from imported leaves from the fertile soils of the Moroccan coastal regions) …..
Kipper – I have promised never to disclose his real identity but alas, it is time that he comes out of the closet.
Kipper – Lord Kipper (for those who have not had the honour of meeting his Excellency in person) is running for presidential election in the central parts of Africa where he wishes to re take his position as Presidential King of central Africa and be hand feed by all women between the age of 18 and 80.
Whilst visiting me in Tuscany he requested my professional assistance and offered the position in return as Vice King only my part of the deal was to be hand fed by men…. So for now I shall not run as his Vice; therefore he is in No. 10 Drowning Street attempting to get support from a Gordon Brown.
The truth – Simba is home for the festive season in Germany and shall be back on the beaches of Greece soon and Kipper is keeping his hands warm from the rain and cold winds battering the southern parts of the UK.
I'm still about Jan an old man doing a young mans job!
Due to the recession my customers are far more selective on who they employ & I'm busy, so I must be doing something right.
But I'm under a lot of pressure to pass work to the "Numpties" who have very little work as well as the office who are trying to prove their worth & scared of redundantcy are now interfering & causing me big problems!
This all leaves little time or the mentality for a light hearted outlook on life or to enjoy Bushdrums.
Anyway! Cody I prefered your first scenario!
Just glad to hear everyone is alright. We need to hear from you guys more often
You two are really hot tickets. Have you ever considered going into show business?
Hi Jan,
Cody is pretty much spot on with his assumptions
Thanks for caring about me, though. Similar to Kipper, it is peak season for me and I need to focus on business rather than enjoy the festive season (in other words, I try to deal with both simultaneously).
I will be back on the "beach" in a few days time and then hope to find a bit more time for Bushdrums.
Take care all of you and have a good start into 2010 !!
Simba
Simba:
Glad you hear you are alive and well and also that business is good. Will look foward to hearing more from you when you get back to the beach, cigars and ouzo.
Have a happy New Year!
