2009 shows the snowless top of Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania .
Meteorologists have warned that the snow caps and glaciers on
Mount Kilimanjaro will disappear altogether between 2015 and
2020. While some scientists blame 'global warming' as being
responsible for the 82 per cent loss of ice cap, a report in 'Nature'
magazine suggests 'researchers think that deforestation of the
mountain's foothills is the more likely culprit'. Much of the
Mombasa pipeline water supply comes from aquifers fed

I have always been amazed by the beauty of Kili - ever since I was a boy growing up at the foot hills of Kili. To think that the ice is melting away - it will remove some of its beauty and mightiness of this magnificant mountain.
We are really great at messing our world up.

You are right! It took humans a merely 150 years to destroy what took millions of millions of years of creation.
I am happy I am as old as I am - I would not like to be younger...........as I don't want to experience what's going on in let's say 50 years........
