DO NOT attempt to feed wildlife! Several drivers reported one minibus full of people throwing apples and oranges to elephants. This will only end up getting the animal killed in the long run if he attempts to steal someone's fruit from their trees or gardens.

Also don't whistle or make animal sounds to try to attract an animals attention.

Again, don't go near fences if wildlife is just on the other side. IT IS DANGEROUS!!!
I spoke with a nice German lady in Amboseli several weeks ago and she thought the fence was there to protect tourists and that the wildlife wouldn't go past the fence! NOT THE CASE FOLKS, that wild elephant you are viewing 15 feet away could be through the wire in two seconds and have you tusked to the ground if you aggravate him.

It takes nature millions of years to evolve a new species. It takes only minutes to eradicate one from the wild forever.

I understand completely. Unfortunately if the elephant did it, he would get shot instead of the thoughtless person.
