Emily is a 15 year old elephant raised by the Sheldrick Trust, most recently in Voi. She and her elephant family have been living free for some time.

If you click on the link you will read that she just had her first calf and was assisted by several wild
elephant "midwives" who protected her and the baby for five days.

After that time she brought her baby, and all the other former orphan elephants, back to the stockades to see her human family.

Wonderful story with great pictures - again showing the trust and understanding of these amazing
animals.

It takes nature millions of years to evolve a new species. It takes only minutes to eradicate one from the wild forever.
