As you may have noticed, I posted a new article this morning regarding the fact that eBay has finally made the correct decision to ban all ivory sales starting January 2009. Great news!!

However, to all you readers in the U.S., we'll all need to be cognizant that people will try to sell ivory under the misconception that it is "bone", "mammoth" "wart hog tusk" or other such things. In January we need to all start checking eBay for tusks, ivory, oriental carvings, etc. and report as questionable ivory each and every item we see that could possibly be ivory disguised as something else.

The poaching has already risen dramatically in Africa within the past months, we all need to do everything in power to put a stop to it. Let us all help eBay stop the sales of anything even questionable as ivory.
