So taxes are the reason more people aren't signing up on this type of website then! There are a few websites I would like to donate to but no-way to charge the card to get it to them. I'm glad to see that one can make direct donations on WildlifeDirect.

I have already given Shivani Chris and Bev's website information as well as bushdrums. Maybe once she gets back up in Samburu she'll be able to join us here also.

Maybe I was not clear enough - re the taxes.
Carsten and I - with the help of the famous 3 - who we e mail privately; would like to set up in the long run and oganisation of Bushdrums and be able help in a small way NGO's.
For us to set up a Paypal account; and take money we need to set up a company and it MUST be non profitable.
For now - I have taken some money for advertising on this site. The money recieved I have to pay full company taxes on and VAT - so if we recieve for example 100.00 Dollars - after taxes and expenses we probably can donate less than HALF of that!!!
Crazy but true - !! I want & will get around this issue in due time - legally as well.

Of course the organizations could add paypal to their websites for direct payment. It is bit of a nightmare to implement and therefore website developers charge quite a bit to do it for them. Maybe they think it is not worth it.
