Dear Bushdrummers -

It has been another exiting year for our website and both Simba and I would like to extent our thoughts and most sincere thanks to a lot of you that have made this website and forum what it is today.

Unlike a lot of other websites, Bushdrums is run and created by us all (with the odd help of Simba when he is not puffing on one of his cigars on the beach…). As some of you may know, Simba and I have our own businesses that are not related to Bushdrums and thus at times we are unable to spend the time and energy we would like to execute our ideas. Maybe one day we will be able to have someone on board to action the latter for us – if not in person.

Until then, we both highly appreciate all your work, time and posting done by many of you who have helped keep our website active, interesting and alive. Without you – this would not be possible.

A special thank you goes to the great work of Jan, Pippa and Kipper for all the information and postings over the years and to our new active members Kat, Toby, Atravelynn, Nyamera, Taz, TsavoCheetah and Veer. Thank you for joining and your constant support.

Via bushdrums, I personally have had the honour and pleasure this year of meeting and hosting in Tuscany a wonderful person – Kipper. This alone has made bushdrums worth it for me and my family.

Once again, thank you all, have a fantastic festive season and all the very best for a warm, peaceful and adventurous 2010; looking forward to another year with my cyber friends –
