Well I have to tell you that the demonstration in Cape Town on 13th May was hijacked by COSATU, the big ANC led trade union. Three busloads of 'workers' arrived at the demo and took over. They seized the microphone and turned it in to a political rally. The animal welfare message was lost.
Bev and I have just returned from voting in the local government elections (at 7.00am today) The ANC hates that it does not control the Western Cape province, which includes the important city of Cape Town. The DA led by Helen Zille governs this province.
