Unfortunately this same thing is going on in northern Kenya reported by the Milgis Trust on www.wildlifedirect.org IN THE NAME OF RESEARCH!!!
It is also unfortunate that the Kenyan government is not yet serious enough about their wildlife and environment to do something about these things. All it will take is a few bills placed in the right pockets and all will be forgotten and the project allowed to go forward.
Thanks for bringing the news of this destruction to our attention Dipesh. So very sad.
