We had been the only guests at Rhino Island Camp on Lake Kariba, Zimbabwe, when Jenny our hostess informed us that the British Ambassador would be arriving for a weekend break.
On our arrival back to camp from the afternoons Rhino search the diplomatic party were already settled around the camp fire for "Sundowners"
Kath & I, showered & changed, proceeded to join them, sundowners in hand!
Introductions made, we sat down, rather Kath did!....My chair was on soft sand as I sat the back sunk into the sand, throwing the contents of my glass over my right shoulder I went over backwards ending with my feet kicking in the air as I lay on my back!

I embarrassingly righted my chair & with a replenished glass as if nothing had happened retorted “Well that’s the traditional Zimbabwe greeting out off the way”.....Hmmm!......Funny! ..... Nobody else reciprocated the greeting!!

I'm just a drop in the ocean....But a million drops could make a wave!

AHAHAHA - well done. This is what I call a memorable introduction.
Did anyone get this on the cam? We can use this greating for all new bushdrummers - !!
