African Environmental Film Foundation was founded by Simon Trevor. His daughter Tanya and her husband Ian Saunders are now helping Simon move their work forward.
I originally saw my first AEFF a few years ago - "Wanted, Dead or Alive". It was marvelously done and touched upon all the problems with both Kenya's wildlife and environment. Simon's movies were originally made to show the people of Africa something of their wonderful country and to encourage them to save their wildlife and its environment. AEFF donated free films to almost all the schools in Kenya, again to encourage children to take better care of their wildlife
Simon is a professional photographer. He has worked on Hollywood movies many times. Despite this, his passion is trying to encourage Africans to take better care of their environment and wildlife.
Some of the AEFF films are now available on www.amazon.com. Just search for AEFF DVD's. Those currently available are "Natural Security", "Running Dry", "A Keeper's Diary". These DVD's are also available through www.aeffonline.org.
If you truly care about African wildlife please order these DVD's. Not only will you thoroughly enjoy them yourselves, but in doing so you will be helping AEFF make even more films to donate to schools in Kenya.
