3 nights in the month of August along with 3-7 other nights in Samburu--what would you think of that? I\'d be traveling alone, but joining in group game activities there. Thanks for any opinions or comments.

The "singing wells" when the Samburu herdsmen water their cattle are supposed to be best in Feb. The cultural aspect of the area is a big attraction for going there. So I wondered about August, which would probably be better for wildlife than Feb. The eco aspect of the place is supposed to be superb. But it is up by the Matthews Range so driving just me from the Samburu airstrip up there might negate the eco advantage for one. It might also be too high of a cost for one. Perhaps I check it out, but for 2010, not 2009.
