Has anyone heard of a rumour that 48,000 Maasai are facing being thrown off their own land by the Tanzanian government just so that kings and princes from the middle east can go hunting?I thing this is disgusting and shouldn't be allowed but i suppose money always comes before people.

Kikuyu: My apologies for not answering sooner as I was in Kenya at the time of your posting.

The only thing I have heard about the issue of taking Maasai land was in an article at:

I have heard nothing further regarding any take over. If I learn of anything else I will be glad to post it here.

It takes nature millions of years to evolve a new species. It takes only minutes to eradicate one from the wild forever.

The poster of the petition didn't state on what they based their information that land would be taken.

It takes nature millions of years to evolve a new species. It takes only minutes to eradicate one from the wild forever.
