Thanks Jan - The greatly anticipated El Nino rains have not manifested themselves yet. Rains are very localized and infrequent and Amboseli has gotten little rain. The El Nino effect also has an impact on the southwest coast of the USA but has yet to materialized there either. Let's hope late Nov/early Dec bring something substantial to our beloved Kenya and particularly Amboseli.
