From an email received from Henk:

Yesterday I was called by the police (I also work with them).
A guy had been spat in the face by a snake and, by the time I was on my way, he was in a ambulance.
Now they needed someone with knowledge about snakes, venom and to catch it.

Once arrived there were a lot of police and people standing around and the guy who had supposadly been attacked by the snake was standing there also.
The moment I looked at him I knew I was there for no reason; he was a drug addict and full of speed.
He had closed his front door and as it turned out later, jumped out from the first floor through the window.
The police arranged a ladder and I climbed into the house.
After a full search I found no snake, only a marhiuana plantation on the second floor.
So all I could tell the police was to arrest the guy and I was off again.
Again spoiled a full day doing no productive things for WLCI

Interesting life.... I take it this happened in Holland?

I presume so, but am not sure. I know Henk takes care of sick/injured animals in zoos and circuses, but I don't know if he travels outside Holland to do so or not.

Next time I am in Holland I will pass by and say hello to him. I go to Hollnd once every 6 months or so. I have lokked up his place in google maps and it is about 1 hour and 30 mins drive from where I usually stay.

Lord help us! If you and Henk get together with your vino, wodka, Carsten's cigars and funny stories, I would love to be there with my video camera
