Nothing to do with Africa but what we are doing to our environment, especially the sea.

A thriller called "The Swarm" (German= Der Schwarm) by Frank Schaetzing.

Seems a bit over the top at the beginning until you get the point.

The author researched 4 Years for his story and it is filled with facts. If you are not as fanatic about the sea as I am, they might even be too many facts, but it is well worth reading.

There are many but my old time favorite is probably "A hunters wanderings in Africa" By Fredrick Courtney Selous about his travels from South africa inland and northwards to the Zambezi basin and East Africa in 19th century. The "end of the Game" by Peter Beard was the one that got me real passionate about the bush.
