I'm looking for complete information about Kenya. I intend to travel there next summer and I want to learn as much as I can about the culture, the people, the places to visit and places where I can stay during my visit. I'll be going on holiday with a friend and we chose Kenya butinformation on the web is so scarce. Please help.

Four of the guide books that I have in my African library are:
Fielding's Kenya
Kenya, The Rough Guide
Fodor's Tanzania and Kenya
Kenya Guide - Open Road Publishing
Granted, my books are about 8 years old purchased before my first trip to Kenya - but I would think if you did a search on Amazon.com you might be able to find updated versions of the same guides.

Good to have you join us and Karibu (welcome - a word you will use many a time if you go to Kenya and Tanzania).
You will also be able to find information on accommodation, nation parks etc on bushdrums.

What parts of Kenya will you be visiting? I have some book suggestions depending on where you'll be.
Here's a suggestion from the last century. Look up Kenya in an encyclopedia. You can delve into any facts or info that is of particular interest. For some real quick overview facts, the World Almanac (current year) is helpful.
In addition, it is nice to learn a few Swahili words. You can find them in the back of most guide books.
You are wise to start planning now.
