Veer, I'm now £600, $1000us poorer because of Video! (I'm too much of a gentleman to use CedrikGs word! Huh! Right!)
For nearly 18 months I've had problem after problem, I've forgotten how many 1394 ports I've blown!
Last week my PC went to where all PC's should go! ....Yup!...Out the window!
I know have another one to blow up, I mean use, honest!
Just ensure you connect & disconnect the firewire correctly. I now switch camera & PC off to connect & disconnect.

Okay - Kipper - this Gordons business... you have dropped your guard with the computer world and now you are onto Gordons... Tanquery, Beefeaters or Bombay is the real McCoy... even a so called Sofisticated Wap knows this.
