I think we now need to start a campaign to educate tourist & lodges on safari etiquette.

This is so infurating that they have already killed this magnificant creature!!!! First of all, why didn't the authorities anesthetize him and move him away from human habitation if they were so worried he might have hurt someone (though he had plenty of reason to do so and didn't)?

Secondary they need to go after Charara, force them out of any lease they may have, put someone else in charge of the lodge and area who would know how to act around wildlife, and also go after each and every guest that was registered at the lodge the day/night of the party and fine them BIG TIME.

This is another disgusting wildlife event from one of the southern African countries. They just don't seem to get it do they? So very sad.

What is even more saddening is, it is so soon after the article I posted on "Biltong in Zimbabwe".

I hope and pray that other magnificent animals like this, when Tusker had been so patient in the past with wrongs humans did to him, won't be lost in the same way.
