7 weeks left before my next visit to Africa 
! I'm going to visit Namibia for 6 weeks in July and August. Currently I'm planning my trip and apart from the common reading of any guide book I can get , maybe someone of you has some more useful information. Has anybody of you been to any other park or reserve than Etosha the last years and can recommend a visit? What about access, game viewing, remoteness,...? Would be great to get some useful information from some experts

no - as i am boykotting namibia because of their unethical hunting pratice especially in view of the cheetahs!
just make sure - double check please - that you don't end up at one of the so called "guest farms" which most of the time means hunting farms! duesternbrook is the worst!

I'm not going to visit any guest farms, for the same reasons as you wouldn't! But Namibia still seems to have vast tracts of wilderness . I thought of going to the lesser known parks in the Caprivi region like Mudumu and Mamili or Khaudum Game Reserve in the Eastern bushmanland. But it's quite difficult to get some significant information about them...
