I mean 10 days - wise guy!! I was just thinking of your annual hours at work -

Strange - that is what you taught me in the computer world... also, if the PC does not respond, check if the wire is plugged in, screen on - if it still does not work then pick up PC 45 cm above the ground and let it drop..... if it still does not work then call Carsten who will probably respond from some beach in Greece - calling it a working trip!

regarding holidays..........
we met an australian in zambia who started his vacation on 26 of jan and he is travelling europa and africa since then and goes on until end of july!!!!!
his explanation: in australia when you work for 7 consecutive years you get 3 month ADDITIONAL vacation! after 10 years another 2 months - resulting that one can take 6 months holidays after 10 years!!!!
and we in germany are told endlessly by our government that we are the most spoilt human beings in the world!
furthermore all engl. speaking countries get the monday off when they have a public holiday on saturday/sunday! we only can dream of such regulations. if a german union boss would ask for such a thing - he would be declared insane by the employers.....
