We came across this large herd early evening as we returned to our tent.
Initially they checked us out, Elephants seemed to be everywhere, slowly moving through the bush feeding.
Many more than shown in this video as well as a number of youngsters.
The little baby I think was only days old, still pink behind the ears, seldom alone as the other elephants fussed over him.

Kipper: Asante sana for posting this heartwarming video. I love watching all elephants - but particularly the very young. It is so funny to watch them exploring with their trunks. No control over it yet, but with practice they will have it down pat in a few months.

Next week I'll be watching them in person and hope to get some nice video footage of my own. My problem is I don't know how to transfer it to computer, edit it and then post it online. Far too complicated for me. You have my admiration.

Nice one Kipper - 4 more months then my turn! I will want to try and do the same as you did last year to film at night with your camera that we purchased some time back.
I want to try and fim a Hippo feeding at night when they come out of the water and feed on grass. There are a few places I know well where I can set up a camera through walk ways made by passing hippos - will be interesting to see what I get.
