I am leaving tomorrow at 05.00am in our iron age Mercedes Benz Diesel - I LOVE THAT vehicle!!! you can do a u-turn on a napkin! - towards the East of Germany in order to check out - again - where these governments are spoiling all our tax payers money at.

I'll fetch my mom and take her to her beloved city DRESDEN but en route we stop over in Leipzig and then spend 4 days (of course we do the steamer cruise from Dresden to Pilnitz castle - what else?) in her beloved Dresden. No, she doesn't come from Dresden - but for some unknown reason she loves it. Okay Dresden is very nice - but for the 4th time.............. Her wish is my order - it seems.........
Then we head toward Prague where we spend 3 days strolling the city, the castle, the bridges......enjoying their food and beer and them we head back towards Leipzig to spend a couple of days in a castle which has been transformed in to a hotel.

Does that sound nice? Of course it does...........My mom turn 84 in the not so distant future and I LOVE when I see the smiles on her face when she tries to get me awake at 07.00am (on holidays!) because COFFEE is calling

BUT I LOVE THESE GIRL's trips!

And you all - you keep up the flag!

I'm sure you'll have a marvelous time escorting your mother to her favorite place. It will mean so much to her, I'm sure. BUT NO WILDLIFE! How will you survive until your next Africa trip?

My first encounters with Mercedes diesels was in the early 60's! Taxis in Singapore with eight or more passengers!!! .......... And pretty little young ladies!

The only bad experience: PRAGUE! It was HELL! I have never ever seen so many tourists in one place! Except on St. Peter's Plaza in Rome during a Pope's blessing.

Once but never again to Prague!

It's not only crowded like hell but also EXPENSIVE like hell!
